Region Two The Hot Shots Team Duval County Health Department Jacksonville, FL [Press Release]

The "Hot Shots" Team studied the entire Immunization cycle, from the time a customer walked through the door until the time the visit was complete-tracking the process and making observations of opportunities for improvement, and doing a time study analysis to identify how clinic visits could be shortened. The project resulted in an over 86% reduction in the number of minutes it takes to receive an immunization at the Duval County Health Department from 65 minutes to less than nine minutes. Costs for employee overtime and security to handle crowd-control were completely eliminated
