Team Showcase: Showcase Criteria

The team's written application and showcase presentation must be in the following specified format and provide documentation of fulfilling the criteria identified in each category. While the method of judging the written project and showcase presentation may vary slightly from region to region, the criteria categories, points allotted for each subcategory and interpretation of score/points are the same for both the regional and state competitions.

At both the regional and state levels, the written application and oral presentation are scored separately, and the scores are combined to determine the winning team. The total possible score for each segment, written and oral, is 60 points.

Florida Sterling Conference

The team selected to represent each region will compete for the State Championship at the annual Sterling Conference in Orlando. Special conference registration fees are available to nine team members selected by the organization. Each team is responsible for transportation, lodging, and the cost of the Awards Banquet where the State Champion will be announced and honored. Each team will also be provided exhibitor space free of charge at the Products & Services Exposition.
