Come join the Sterling community. Attend this year’s Conference Preview Session whether you are a seasoned veteran or a new attendee. Meet new people and learn how to take best advantage of this year’s Sterling Conference.
The preview session will help you plan your personal conference strategy,
build a conference network, understand Sterling, and navigate your way around
the conference. It will provide some insight into the nine workshop tracks
(DMAIC, Business, Education, Executive, Governor’s Sterling Award, Innovation,
Health Care, Tools, and General) giving you the best advantage to personalize
your conference experience. Some exciting conference enhancements will be
highlighted for you, including the newly added Business track. Don’t
miss out on anything; attend and you will begin formulating a strategy to “Maximize
Your Return!”
Networking Forums

What are the Networking Forums?
These facilitated networking sessions by sector will encourage participants
to:
• Meet other people from their sector.
• Discuss ideas gleaned from the first day of the conference.
• Address current issues and challenges in their industry.
• Share ideas
that have worked for their organizations.
How do I register?
Mark the appropriate Sector box on your conference registration form. There
is no additional charge for these sessions. You will receive a reminder in
your registration envelope when you check-in at the Florida Sterling Conference.
Note: these sessions are a first come first serve basis; they do fill up quickly,
so please arrive early. Refreshments will not be served at these sessions.
Networking Luncheons
Wednesday, May 28, 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
Networking Business Luncheon
During lunch on day one, you will have the option to expand your conference
experience and interact with conference participants in your sector. Note
cards will be available at every table. The topic of discussion will place
emphasis on networking. Questions might include: What is your best tip on
networking a room? What is a barrier to you successfully networking at a meeting?
Do you consider networking part of your job? You will even receive a tip on
networking!

Take-away More Than a Full Stomach
Lunch on day two will allow participants to exchange information on the workshops
they have attended at the conference. Note cards will be available at every
table. The topic of discussion will highlight the tangible tools conference
participants have received from the workshops they have attended. Thought
provoking questions will include: What has been the best workshop you have
attended and why? What tangible take-away have you found the most beneficial
to you and your organization? With a wide array of workshops to choose from,
don’t miss this chance to learn information on workshops you were not
able to attend!
