One of the Governor’s top initiatives is growing jobs, and he has made STEM jobs a priority in his budget priorities for 2012-13. Manufacturers have jobs that cannot be filled with the talent available. The Florida STEM Manufacturing and Education Forum is connecting education and manufacturing to grow jobs in Florida and be the economic development driver for each region. The Florida Sterling Council and the MAF Center for Advanced Manufacturing Excellence (MAF Center), co-hosting this forum, will bring together stakeholders to share best practices across the manufacturing and education industries.
This statewide leadership forum brings together schools, workforce boards, manufacturers and key stakeholders to have collaborative dialogue, share best practices from the best in Florida, and give all organizations the tools to put Florida on the right track. It all starts here.
