Pensacola, Florida - June 23, 2008  –  The Great  Place to Work Institute, Inc. and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has named Landrum Human Resource Companies, Inc. 10th among the "Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America".  This is Landrum's fourth consecutive year being named on this elite list.

The list was announced on June 23 before an audience of more than 15,000 at the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) 60th Annual Conference & Exposition in Chicago.
The results were based on employees' responses to a detailed questionnaire about the organizations' workplace culture, including credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. To be considered for the award, at least 40 percent of a company's employees had to complete the survey.

This annual list, now in its fifth year, ranks the top 25 small and top 25 medium-sized companies in America that use smart people management strategies to develop successful organizations with highly productive and satisfied workforces.

Britt Landrum, Jr., founder and CEO of Landrum Human Resource Companies. "I must however give all the credit to the employees. Their actions have created an atmosphere that makes us proud of where we work."
