Kottkamp meets with Sterling Council

TALLAHASSEE – Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottamp puts his new administration’s stamp today on the Florida Sterling Council. Kottkamp attends the group’s board of directors meeting at 9 a.m. in Tallahassee.

Created as a public-private partnership in 1992, the Sterling Council provides training and mentoring to organizations throughout Florida to promote better management and performance.

In the past 15 years, the group has awarded 46 organizations the “Governor’s Sterling Award,” for “significant improvement and achievement of performance excellence,” according to a written statement.
